My Story
During my junior year at Georgia State University, Facebook was introduced as a communication tool for college students. One of my professors used it in our Mock Congress class, and I remember thinking, “This is going to change everything.” At the time, many of us were using MySpace, but Facebook’s clean design and focus on connecting people who already knew and trusted one another felt completely different. It wasn’t just another website—it was the beginning of a new way for businesses to communicate with customers.
After graduating I found myself naturally stepping into marketing roles with every company I joined. What began with social media quickly expanded into print advertising, branding, website development, search engine optimization (SEO), Google advertising, lead generation, promotional products, radio campaigns, and business development.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping launch new businesses from the ground up while also helping established companies reinvent themselves and reach new audiences. From developing brand identities and designing logos to creating websites, mobile apps, marketing strategies, sales materials, and digital advertising campaigns, I’ve learned that successful marketing isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about building businesses with purpose.
One of the industries that has shaped my experience the most is real estate. Years spent marketing custom home builders, excavation companies, developers, event venues, and real estate-related businesses taught me how to market more than just a product—they taught me how to tell a story. Whether it’s helping sell a home, a neighborhood, or a company’s reputation, every successful business has a story worth telling.
